HIKING MARATHON
The GCC Hikers invite you to join us for the annual Cumberland County Hiking Marathon! Together, we will complete the 10K portion of the challenge by hiking the following 4 trails:
Saturday, September 6th – Fairfield Glade Paved Trail
Saturday, September 13th – CMSP Storybook Paved Trail
Saturday, September 20th – Obed River Park Paved Trail
Saturday, September 27th – Centennial Park Paved TrailMeet at the church at 10:00 AM to carpool.
Rain = Yes. Lightning = No. Make-up hikes will be on Sundays.For rules and registration, visit www.hikingmarathon.com to sign up as an individual or as a family. Every registered participant who completes at least one trail will receive a free T-shirt.
Not registering? No problem—we’d still love for you to hike with us!

CHRISTMAS PLAY PRACTICE

NEW WOMEN'S SMALL GROUP
Ladies of all ages are invited to join a new small group focused on Bible study and life application. Group members will spend each meeting digging into the Bible together, beginning with a broad overview and tips on how to study the Bible in general . Whether you've read the Bible cover to cover, or are unsure how to even begin- this group is for you! Having a diverse group, full of both new and experienced Bible readers, will create opportunity for mentorship, thoughtful questions, and fellowship. This group will meet at Grace on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month beginning October 4th from 6:00-7:00 PM. For more information, contact Group Leader, Liz Willis.
October 10th-12thGRACE SISTERS TO WOMEN OF JOY
The Grace Sisters Women’s Ministry will enjoy an incredible weekend of faith and fellowship as they attend the Women of Joy Conference in Pigeon Forge from October 10th-12th. An informational meeting for all women attending the conference will be held on Sunday, October 5th at 10:00 AM in the large meeting room at the back of the gym. Every year, children around the world hear the gospel of Jesus Christ as they receive Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes. You can be a part of this life changing event by simply filling a shoebox with gifts for a child. Use a standard shoebox from home or pick up a shoebox at the table in the gym on Sundays November 9th or 16th. For more info on how to fill a shoebox click here. Return filled boxes to the church by Sunday, November 23rd. We will place them on the steps in the sanctuary and pray over them before sending them off to be delivered to the children. BABY SHOWER FOR JESUS
Our annual Baby Shower for Jesus table will be set up in the gym on Sunday, December 7th. This season, as we celebrate the coming of the baby Jesus, let us take Matthew 25:40 to heart and shower some of God's children with blessings. A gift table will be set up in the gym. All gifts will be donated to Plateau Pregnancy Services. Please do not wrap gifts.
Needed items include:

- Baby toiletry items
- Baby clothes (all sizes)
- Maternity clothes
