    GRACE SISTERS MOVIE NIGHT

    The Grace Sisters Women’s Group will be meeting at the church at 4:15 PM on Thursday, May 2nd  to carpool to the AMC Classic Highland 12 Theater in Cookeville to see the movie Unsung Hero .  The movie starts at 5:00 PM and is 2 hours long. Tickets may be purchased at the theater that day or online in advance.  For more information see Women's Ministry Director, Teresa Breeding.

    Planet Kidz will be singing during the 10:30 AM service  on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 12th.  Parents, please have your child upstairs by 10:15 for a final practice. For more information, see Children’s Music Director, Natasha Kean.

    LAUREL SNOW FALLS HIKE

    9:00 AM
    Everyone is invited to join the GCC Hikers as they hike the 4.7 mile Laurel Snow Falls trail in Dayton, TN on Saturday, May 18th. Meet at the church to carpool at 9:00 AM.  Children are welcome with an adult but will need close supervision on this trail as there are some steep ridges and mining chutes.  Pets are welcome on a leash.  For more information, contact Group Leader, Tracina Cross.

    YOUTH PARENT MEETING

    Noon

    All parents of new youth members and students going into 6th grade are invited to join Youth Pastors, Jeff and Jessica Evans and the youth leadership team in the gym on Sunday, May 26th at noon for lunch and an informative meeting about Alive Student Ministry.  Topics include: Winter Conference, our annual Frito Bandito fundraiser, youth guidelines, and our overall mission and hope for your student in youth ministry.  For more information, contact Youth Pastors, Jeff or Jessica Evans.

    6th GRADERS MOVE UP!

    5:30-8:00 PM

    All students going into 6th grade in the Fall are invited to join the youth group beginning Wednesday, June 5th.   In addition to Wednesday night youth group meetings, youth in grades 6th-8th meet upstairs for class during the 10:30 service on Sunday mornings.     BABY DEDICATIONS

    10:30 AM

    We will be having a Baby Dedication Ceremony on Sunday, June 30th during the 10:30 AM service.  Christian parents who dedicate a child during this ceremony are making a promise to the Lord before the church congregation to do everything in their power to raise the child in a Godly way, prayerfully, until he or she can make a decision on his or her own to follow God.  If you would like to dedicate your baby during this service, please let Teresa Breeding know by June 16th.

    August 19th-24th

    FRITO BANDITO

    Alive Student Ministry will be selling their famous Frito Banditos at the Cumberland County Fair on August 19th-24th.   All students planning to attend Winter Conference in January must work at least one shift in the Frito Bandito booth.  Lots of youth and adult volunteers are needed!  Be sure to support our youth by eating a delicious Frito Bandito at the fair!  For more information, contact Youth Pastors, Jeff and Jessica Evans.
