    Everyone is invited to join the GCC Hikers as they hike the 2.4-mile Meadow Park North Trail on Saturday, June 27th.  Meet at the church at 9:00 AM to carpool.  Children are welcome with an adult. Pets are welcome on a leash.  For more information, contact Group Leader, Tracina Cross

    BASKETBALL

    Do you love to play basketball? Join us in the gym on the last Sunday of each month beginning June 28th from 5:30-7:30 PM for co-ed pickup basketball! Open to adults and youth ages 12 and up. For more information, contact Cory Burbank.

    The month of July

    PRAY4TN
    The Tennessee General Assembly has passed
    House Joint Resolution 51, declaring July as an annual statewide time of prayer and fasting. Visit pray4tn.us for all the details.

    How You Can Participate:

    • Join with other believers across the state as we pray daily, committing to seeking the Lord by prayer and fasting.
    • Join together with our community for 1 hour of prayer at the Cumberland County Courthouse, on Saturday,  July 11, at 9:00AM.

    Men of Iron will not be meeting on July 4th. They will resume their regular 1st Saturday breakfast meetings on August 1st at 8:00 AM.

    Sunday, July 5th  is Red, White and Blue Sunday.  Show your patriotism by wearing red, white and blue.  Planet Kidz will be leading the Pledge of Allegiance during each service.

    SHOP WITH A COP DONATIONS

    We will be collecting donations on Sunday, July 12th for the Back to School “Shop with a Cop” program sponsored by the Frank G. Clement Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #38.  This program unites underprivileged children from Crossville and Cumberland County with local law enforcement officers. The officers take these children to a local store where they shop for clothing, shoes, and school supplies for each child. In addition to providing necessities for these children, the Back to School Shop with a Cop program is a great opportunity for local law enforcement officers to bond with at-risk children in our community.  If you would like to make a contribution to this program, please place your donation in the blue box on the front counter in the lobby Checks can be made out to Grace Community Church with “Shop with a Cop” in the memo. For more information contact Teresa Breeding.

    BLESSING PRAYER GROUP

    Blessings Reborn Ministries is a new prayer group meeting at Grace on the third Thursday of each month at 6:00 PM beginning Thursday, July 16th. Open to men and women of all ages, this group will focus on learning and practicing blessing prayers—a powerful biblical way to speak God's truth, encouragement, and blessing over others.For more information, contact Dave Korb or Barb Korb.

    1613 MEN'S CONFERENCE

     The men of Grace Community Church will be attending the 1613 Men’s Conference in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 17–19.  Group tickets and lodging arrangements are currently full. However, you are still welcome to attend by purchasing your own conference ticket and arranging your own accommodations. You can then meet up with the rest of the group at the conference.     Celebrate Recovery of Crossville will be hosting a shoe drive on Sunday, July 19th, collecting new and gently worn shoes. Donations can be dropped off at the table in the gym that morning. For more information, contact Tammy Zitzka.

    YOUTH TO KENTUCKY SPLASH
    Youth in grades 6th-12th get ready for an awesome Summer Adventure!  Alive Student Ministry will be taking a day trip to Kentucky Splash Waterpark on Saturday, July 25th from 8AM -8 PM.  Get ready for a full day of fun, water rides, and dinner before heading home.  Cost is $25 per person.  Sign up in advance to reserve your spot.  Space is limited!     BABY DEDICATIONS
    10:30 AM
    We will be having a Baby Dedication Ceremony on Sunday, July 26th  during the 10:30 AM service.  Christian parents who dedicate a child during this ceremony are making a promise to the Lord before the church congregation to do everything in their power to raise the child in a Godly way, prayerfully, until he or she can make a decision on his or her own to follow God.

    BACK TO SCHOOL SUNDAY

    Sunday, August 2nd is Back to School Sunday. During each service, we will have a special time of prayer and blessing over our children, teachers, and all those who work in our school system.  Children entering into Kindergarten are invited to move upstairs to join Planet Kidz.  For more information contact Children’s Director, Sarah Pharris.

    We're excited to announce our upcoming Name Tag Sunday on August 2nd! As our church family continues to grow, it's becoming wonderfully challenging to keep up with all the new faces.  To help us all connect and get to know each other better, we'll have a table set up in the lobby where you can write your own name tag before the service.  This is a simple way for us to build stronger connections as a church family.  Please join us — we'd love to learn your name!

    GCC END OF SUMMER BASH

    Join together with your Grace Community Church family for our End of Summer Bash on Saturday, August 8, from 11:00 AM–2:00 PM at South Cumberland Elementary School, 3536 Lantana Road, Crossville. Enjoy a day of food, fellowship, and fun! Activities will include a pickleball tournament, volleyball, kickball, and the playground for children. The Men of Iron group will be providing hot dogs.
