CHRISTMAS PLAY PRACTICE

'Tis the Season to start getting ready for the Christmas Play! Practices will be held on Tuesdays beginning September 17th from 5:00-6:30 PM.  Mark your calendars:  the play will be presented on Sunday, December 15th at 5:00 PM.  For more information contact Joey or Geneva Thompson.

The GCC Hikers would like to invite everyone to join them in participating in the annual Cumberland County Hiking Marathon during the month of September.  The group will complete the 10K  portion of the challenge together on the following dates and times: 

Saturday, Sept. 22, 1 PM- Obed River Park Paved Trail

Saturday, Sept. 29, 1 PM- Centennial Park Paved Trail

KIDZ TO LEARN ABOUT OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

Jeff and Beverley Amarello will be visiting our Planet Kidz classroom on Sunday, September 22^nd during the 10:30 AM service to talk to the Kidz about Operation Christmas Child and teach them how to make homemade caterpillars to put in their boxes.  Planet Kidz has set a goal to work together to fill 15 boxes this year.  Students are encouraged to bring a small toy for a boy or girl to put in the boxes. GRACE SISTERS TO VOLUNTEER AT  THREADS OF HOPE

Grace Sisters will be sorting donations at the Threads of Hope on Wednesday, September 25th from 9:00 AM to Noon. The Threads of Hope is a thrift store here in Crossville. All proceeds from the store benefit drug endangered, abused and at risk children.

Students in 6th-12th grades are invited to join Alive Student Ministry for a community wide Scavenger Hunt.  We will be going to different locations throughout Crossville competing as teams to

see who can follow and complete the most clues during our time together.  We will be having dinner at Casa Grande after our silly shenanigans!  This is going to be an evening of fun you won't want to miss! OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

Every year, children around the world hear the gospel of Jesus Christ as they receive Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes.  You can be a part of this life changing event by simply filling a shoebox with gifts for a child.  Use a standard shoebox from home or pick up a shoebox at the table in the gym on Sundays November 10^th or 17^th.  Return filled boxes to the church by Sunday, November 24^th.  We will place them on the steps in the sanctuary and pray over them before sending them off to be delivered to the children.  For more information, email Jeff or Beverley Amarello.
