GRACE SISTERS

GRACE SISTERS is the women’s ministry of Grace Community Church.
If you are a woman who attends Grace—you are a Grace Sister!  And we invite you  to join us for our LARGE GROUP meeting at the church on the first Tuesday of each month from 6:00–7:30 PM.     Each month we do something different:   it could be a guest speaker, a biblical discussion or a service project.  Our heart is to grow in faith, build friendships, and serve God together. We also enjoy special fellowship and service events throughout the year.  Feel free to jump in when you can, we'd love to get to know you!

AUGUST MONTHLY MEETING

Our August Grace Sisters Meeting is Tuesday, August 4th!

When disaster strikes, people need more than food, water, and shelter—they need hope.

Join us as our Grace Sister, Katie DePoortere, shares about her experiences serving with the Samaritan's Purse Disaster Relief Team. Hear firsthand how God is working through ordinary people to bring practical help, encouragement, and the hope of Jesus to those facing some of life's most difficult moments.  As followers of Christ, we are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus. "We love because He first loved us." (1 John 4:19) Come be encouraged by what God is doing through Samaritan's Purse and learn how this incredible ministry brings hope to communities recovering from natural disasters. Whether you're simply interested in hearing Katie's story or you're curious about serving on a disaster relief team someday, you'll leave inspired by the difference God's people can make when they answer His call.

WOMEN OF JOY

The Grace Sisters women's ministry will be enjoying a faithfilled weekend in the Smoky Mountains as they attend the Women of Joy Conference Friday, October 9th- 11th.  An informational meeting will be held on Sunday, October 4th at 10:00 AM or 11:45 AM in the large meeting room at the back of the gym.  All Grace Sisters attending Women of Joy are encouraged to attend this meeting.  For ticket availability or more information, contact Women's Ministry Director, Teresa Breeding.

SISTERS IN SCRIPTURE

Group Type:  Bible Study

Description:  Small group focused on Bible study and life application. Members will spend each meeting digging into the Bible together beginning with a broad overview and tips on how to study the Bible in general. Whether you've read the Bible cover to cover, or are unsure how to even begin- this group is for you! Having a diverse group, full of both new and experienced Bible readers will create opportunity for mentorship, thoughtful questions, and fellowship.



LADIES BUNCO

Group Type:  Hobbies and Interests

When:  Every 3rd Tuesday

Time:  6:00-7:30 PM

Status: Open to adult ladies ages 18 and up

Description:  Bunco is a fun and easy dice game that anyone can learn!   It's a great way to meet new people, laugh together, and maybe even win a prize or two. Never played before? No worries—we’ll teach you! Just come ready to roll the dice and have a great time!



CRAFTING WITH NICOLE

Description: A creative small group designed to help everyone connect deeply with God’s Word through hands-on crafting and meaningful devotionals. Each session pairs a Bible verse or passage with a simple, reflective craft that reinforces the spiritual theme — turning Scripture into something tangible and memorable.  Each participant is asked to pay a small amount to cover the cost of crafting supplies - this amount will vary each month depending on the craft.



MOMS GROUP  

Group Type:   Fellowship & Devotion

When:  Every 4th Friday

Time:  6:00-7:30 PM

Status:  Open to moms of babies, toddlers and teens
